Let's Give Back

Yarn Hollow Charity Projects

Calling all knitters and crocheters! We are looking to give back to our surrounding communities with your help.  Throughout the year, we will highlight different charity projects and collect your completed items that will benefit our local hospitals, organizations, and families.

Please drop off your donation to Yarn Hollow during normal business hours.

Hat Collection

Do you have extra stash yarn that you don't know what to do with? Do you love to knit or crochet hats but have more than you need? Bring those hats to our collection basket and they will be dispersed to local Little Free Libraries and Blessing Boxes around the area throughout the winter season! Many warm heads will be grateful for your handiwork!

Operation Christmas Child

Feel free to bring in your last bits of yarn balls that you have left over from your projects.  We are collecting scrap balls throughout the year to donate to Operation Christmas Child.  They will be added to craft kits for kids.

Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Our mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.
